What you are going to hear: Released in 1987, Faith marked George Michael’s debut as a solo artist and firmly established him as one of the defining voices of late-’80s pop. This album delivered an extraordinary run of hits including “Faith,” “Father Figure,” “One More Try,” “Monkey,” and “I Want Your Sex.” Remarkably, four singles reached No. 1 on the Billboard charts, where some bands dream of a single hit in a lifetime. Besides being a fantastic listen, this is an iconic album that helped cement Michael's post-Wham career.
Condition: The vinyl is in great condition (VG+ at least). It has been thoroughly cleaned (SpinClean) and played through on both sides to ensure playback quality. I detected no pops, crackles or skips.
The jacket has a little wear on the corners, along with a few small crease lines on the right side of the jacket. There is also a hint of a ring line on the top front, but little to detract from the cover photo of a leather-jacket clad Michael. On the flip side, you'll find a resale sticker in the upper corner and a couple of underline marks on two of the songs. On the whole, the jacket is in great structural condition and still has a great sheen to it.
The original inner sleeve is intact, as a poster insert with Michael's picture on one side and song lyrics on the reverse.
