Description

Rare George Wallington Quintet at The Bohemia Featuring The Peck Progressive Hi Fidelity PLP 1001. This is the mono deep groove, original pressing of this super rare LP from 1955 and has Jackie McLean, Donald Byrd, Paul Chambers and Art Taylor joining George for this live date. Chambers' bowed solos, Jackie McLean's playing and Bryd's blowing make this a highly collectible LP as I am sure you know. This is the mono, deep groove original pressing and it has been play graded both sides, sounds excellent, entrance spot of noise then clean quiet music on both sides. The cover is VG+ with a hint of corner wear but VG+ otherwise. This LP books for a lot, so please look it up and come back and bid often. No low ball offers please, as I will not respond. This books for 4 figures regularly as I am sure you will find out in your research. LP has light hair like surface marks in a few places and has no effect on play. Item played on both sides and sounded great.
