Description
George Wallington (with Gerry Mulligan, Curly Russell, Charlie Perry, Buddy Stewart, Brew Moore, Kai Winding, etc.) TRIOS AND SEPTET Savoy 12081, recorded late Forties. Silve and bright red deep groove original. “RVG” hand cut into the wax. Very little play wear, but it was stored for decades with no inner sleeve. Disc looks E+ with a couple of sneeze marks and it plays E+ as well. Glossy wraparound jacket has one gently bent corner and a rubber stamp (also is on the label); otherwise very crisp and shiny: NM-/E+
