Description

From the September 4-5, 1956 recording dates, these are two very rare deep-groove pre-production engineer’s test pressings for George Wallington’s “Knight Music” on Atlantic SD 1275. As is shown on the labels, the recording was originally intended for release on East West SD 4004, but was moved to Atlantic when “The Prestidigitator” (recorded April 4, 1957) was given the East West catalogue number. Other than a light inaudible handling mark at the beginning Side 1, the two discs are in near-new condition. An original laminated stereo cover (SD 1275) is included; slight discoloration around the edges of the back slick. Personnel include Teddy Kotick and Nick Stabulas. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL.
