Description
Remington R-149-50: Violinist Georges Enesco plays the Schumann Sonata in D Minor, accompanied by pianist Celiny Chailley-Richez. As is typical of Remington pressings, there is a fair amount of surface noise on both sides. Side 1 has a few light marks and 4 pressing bubbles that sound (one bubble sounds 20 times at 1:00, another bubble sounds 20 times at 1:20, a third bubble sounds 7 times at 4:20, and a fourth bubble sound 7 times at 4:30). Side 2 has a few light marks and small pressing bubbles, but any sound they make is hidden by the general surface noise. There are no spindle marks. The cover shows some light wear and has two adhesive filing tabs attached; there is also some neat handwriting on the back (see photos). The cover has no seam splits. Inner sleeve is not original (I believe that Remington records originally came with plastic bags instead of paper inner sleeves; I'm including a 10" paper sleeve to protect the record, but it doesn't really fit inside the cover).
All Records play-graded on a Townshend Rock Mk III turntable with OL-modified Rega arm and Benz M2 cartridge. I will offer a 14-day money-back guarantee (excluding return shipping) if you are not completely satisfied with condition of this item.
Record will be shipped in a Bags Unlimited LP mailer, double boxed inside a second box. Record will be removed from original cover and packed separately in a junk album cover to avoid the possibility of damaging the original cover.
