Description

One of the very finest of the hillbilly vocal/string bands of the late 
20's was The Georgia Yellow Hammers. With "Uncle" Bud Landress 
as the foundation, this group does some nice singing and playing, 
"Going To Raise A Rucus Tonight" and "Mary, Don't You Weep."
This is on 78rpm scroll label Victor 20928.

Recorded in Charlotte North Carolina on August 9, 1927, the record is 
in excellent to excellent-plus (E to E+) condition on the A side, and 
excellent-plus (E+) condition on the B side. It is in the original Orthophonic sleeve.
