Description

Rare United Artists test pressing of Gerry Rafferty’s Days Gone Down single, dated May 7, 1979. This 12" format features the short version on one side and the long version on the other, pressed for internal review and radio consideration during Rafferty’s Night Owl era.

  • Label: United Artists dark blue test pressing label

  • Details: Each side carries a sticker with catalog number and date

  • Sleeve: Plain white jacket with handwritten artist/title info

  • Condition: Excellent—clean surfaces, strong playback, minimal handling wear

Test pressings were produced in extremely limited numbers, making this a scarce artifact of Rafferty’s peak creative period. A true collector’s piece for fans of City to City / Night Owl era Rafferty and vinyl archivists alike.
