Get Ready, by Rare Earth. LP record album, 1969 Rare Earth/Motown Records HS-1634, stereo.
Original scarce edition die-cut jacket is in Very Good condition, there is some general wear and ring wear, two creases bottom left.
This is a very hard to find item and essential to any comprehensive collection of classic rock.
Record:
Visual grade - Very Good minus to Very Good.
Audio grade - Very Good. (see scale below). You can likely find a better copy of the record easily enough if you want to upgrade it, the main value of this item is in the jacket.

Grading of LP record albums: Albums are graded by three criterion; (1) Visual inspection, (2) Absolute level of background noise as heard on silent grooves (intros and between songs), (3) Level of background noise heard during content.
The older the record album, the greater the difference is likely to be between they way it looks and the way it sounds.
Mint: Not part of our vocabulary in general, but would refer to a sealed unopened record.
Near Mint: Looks brand new, sounds absolutely clean with not one tick of noise. A new album when opened would be by definition Near Mint.
Near Mint minus: For all intents and purposes like new, an acknowledgment only that "perfect" is hard to achieve.
Very Fine plus: Very close to new, appears to have been played possibly two or three times. Just a tick or two on the silent groove perhaps but music is clean.
Very Fine: Still close to new and only slightly used, a few faint marks or sleeve scratches. Only if the music level is very soft is it possible to hear a hint of light surface static.
Very Fine minus: Surface blemishes no worse than for VF but a few more of them. Just a touch of background noise sneaks through in moderately soft passages.
Very Good plus: Light scratches possible but nothing even close to bad. Consistent but not loud static on the silent grooves is not heard when the music level is fairly loud, but may be heard some on anything less than average.
Very Good: May have a number of light scratches but still nothing bad. Moderate surface static can generally be heard during the music but does not interfere with it. note: Few record albums made in the 50's or 60's actually play any better than VG or VG+ regardless of their appearance.
Very Good minus: The surface noise rivals the music but does not exceed it.
Good plus: No awful scratches but will have a lot of them. Surface noise has overtaken the music.
Generally we do not offer less than VG- unless the record is very rare, these will be individually described.
