Description
The Meliora box set is the Unholy Grail for most Ghost vinyl collectors.
I tried to take pictures of the records to show their flaws as clear as possible. I’ve play test both the 12” Meliora and 10” Zenith:
Meliora has a lot of sleeve scuffs as evidenced in the photos due to being stored in the original inner paper sleeve. The record sounds like a normal Loma Vista pressing, which often has light pops here and there that don’t distract from the music. The last song I noticed the light clicks and pops the most but it wasn’t overly distracting. This is why it’s rated VG+. The outer sleeve has a seal split. The record will be shipped in the box but outside of the outer sleeve to prevent additional splitting.
Zenith 10” sounds great. There is a seam split in the outer cover. The 10” has a slight warp that was too hard to show in an image. There are slight paper sleeve scuff marks, which is common with this record due to the paper sleeve. The warp does not impact play. Most Zenith pressings sadly have a mild warp due to how a lot of fans store the box set over the years. While the record plays better than a VG+, I’m rating it VG+ due to the warp.
Box set comes with everything, including the poster, picture book, and black envelop with pictures. The records will be shipped in Mofi inner sleeves.
