Description
Gigi Gryce (with Thelonious Monk, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Art Farmer, Jimmy Cleveland, etc.) NICA’S TEMPO Savoy 12137, recorded 1955. Savoy release of Signal material. Deep grove mono; silver on bright red label. Rubber stamp “NR” on label and on back of jacket. Jacket is E+: small handling wear to front; back and edges are virtually perfect. Disc looks NM- and plays E+. Spin-hole shows that it has been played, but no long traces outside of the hole. Outer tracks are E+ ultimately, and inner ones play much closer to NM-.
