This is the original deep groove “P”-pressing of Gigi Gryce “Sextet” on the Lexington Ave. labels of Blue Note BLP 5048. The flat rim playing surface is virtually in new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated frame cover is also in extraordinary condition – bright, clean, and immaculate throughout; 1/16” wear at the lower right corner. Personnel include Clifford Brown, Jimmy Gourley, Henri Renaud, and Pierre Michelot. $400.00.
