Gil Scott Heron is one of the most influential black music artists of
his generation. Like Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Bob Marley and
Curtis Mayfield his music transgresses all music boundaries, and he
is heralded in rock as in soul and jazz circles. Along with his partner
and lyricist Brian Jackson, Gil wrote and recorded some of the most
memorable songs of the 70's always with poignant lyrics. 'The Bottle' has
been a club favorite since it's release in 1973, 'Johannesburg' predicted
the unrest in South Africa two years before Soweto, 'It's Your World' has been
in demand for past ten years or so. This album puts together 15 of the
best and most in demand of their recordings from 1973 to 1980, and is the
first collection covering that period for 15 years. Soul Brother Records. 2005.

We package our LPs in a thick cardboard LP mailer. We ALWAYS take the LP out of the jacket to 
avoid any seam splitting that could occur in shipment. We put the LP and the jacket in an LP plastic sleeve. 
We float the LP between cardboard and 2 sheets of bubble wrap. We use shipping tape on all 
spines to protect the integrity of the box, and to insure the safety of the contents. 
All this is included in the low shipping price. We will clean your purchase on our 
VPI machine if and when necessary. This insures that you receive your item in the best possible condition.

 LP SHIPPING
We use the US Postal Service’s Media Mail for shipping in the U.S.
The buyer pays a shipping, packing (see above) and handling fee of $4.00 for the first
12"or LP and 50c for each additional item in the same package. 
This includes USPS delivery confirmation (US only), box & packing material.

 Shipping to other countries is by the United States Postal Service's First Class Mail International. 
The rates for overseas is $18.00 for the first item, with an added $5.00 for each additional album. 

Shipping to Canada is $14.00 for the first item, with an added $2.50 for each additional album.

 WE COMBINE ITEMS FOR THE BEST SHIPPING PRICE

 All items will be expertly packaged to prevent damage in shipment (see above).
