Description

This is the Glastonbury Fayre compilation 'Revelations' triple lp.

1972

From reading previous sales descriptions, it is complete as far as I can gather. So, here goes:

It has the plastic sleeve with the artwork and description (pictured). It is in good condition, it is not torn, but it has a couple of scratches and it is a little creased on the edges, but it has been over a pretty heavy lp for the last 34 years.

The cover is the large foldout poster size. It has the picture of the pyramid on the one side and the picture of the campsite (with hippy) and the Aquarius writeup. It is in excellent condition, there is a small crease on one of the corners. There are some tiny brown marks on the edge of the campsite side, but it is otherwise unmarked.

The 'Glastonbury Fayre' overall sort of insert, is in excellent condition. It is a 16 page guide to Glastonbury, with photos of artists and campers. It has schedules (yeah right!) and stories about the fayre. As mentioned, it is in excellent condition and shows no sign of wear at all.

'The Electric Score' insert, which details the songs that were given freely by the artists is in excellent condition. It is again double sided, with details of the artists and their songs, artwork and a photo on one side, and photos of the artists and more song details on the other. It shows very little sign of its age and is unmarked.

The 'Dome Sweet Dome' insert is in excellent condition. It is again double sided, one side is some artwork of some hippy campers coming out of a black hole?!. While the other side is a make it yourself '2V Triacon 1/2 Sphere', with details of how to buy dome and shelter books. It also shows no sign of its age and is unmarked.

'The Hawkwind Log' insert is in excellent condition. It is a 12 page booklet, detailing 6 days in the life of the spacecraft Hawkwind. It has some fabulous pictures and artwork. It again shows little sign of age, and it is undamaged.

The 'Build your Astral Pyramid' insert is in better than excellent condition. It is black card with silver print and the silver cutout pyramid, it is unmarked and shows no sign of aging.

The lp sleeves are in excellent condition. They are all paper, with the odd tiny brown spot, but no tears or creases.

The records themselves are in mint condition, although they probably have been played at some point, they sshow absolutely no sign of it. The surfaces are clean and unmarked. The labels are green with the flaming Revelations logo, record number 3 has 'LOUD! printed on both sides. The spindle holes are unmarked. I can't stress enough, that these records look brand new.
