Description
Here is Gnidrolog's 1972 album, Lady Lake, complete with lyric sheet insert. I was playing it through to check the condition, and to be honest, I thought I had grown out of this kind of music, but found myself enjoying it in places. The audio quality is superb. Catalogue number: SF8322.
Anyway, to the condition. I would grade the vinyl as excellent, with the exception of the first minute or so of side one. This is slightly crackly, which I would attribute to static, and will hopefully disappear with a professional cleaning. After this section, and for the rest of the entire album, there really is nothing worth mentioning, save for the odd very short duration crackle or click, that you are always going to get with used vinyl of this age.
There is no warpage, the tonearm remains almost totally steady during disc rotation. Visually, only very minor surface scuffing is evident, probably a result of being removed and inserted into the inner sleeve.
There is a small pen mark on the label of side one, see photo, to the right of where Lady Lake is printed. (I bought the LP in the early 70s from a second-hand record shop in Glasgow that used to mark its stock in this fashion. Why, I don't know. It doesn't make much sense. They obviously wanted to know if people were trying to sell them stuff back that they'd bought and sold before, but it seems to me they were denying themselves the chance to profit multiple times from the same item.)
The outer sleeve has a bit of ringwear visible at the top of the front face. Apart from that any edge and corner wear is really minimal. There are no label marks or writing on the sleeve. The lyric sheet is clean white paper, with no discolouration that I can see. All in all, I think this has got to be one of the best examples of this LP left in existence.

P&P is for Royal Mail UK first class, packaged in a cardboard mailer with stiffener, the LP packed outside the sleeve (so as not to cause sleeve wear), and supplied with a heavy duty PVC outer cover and Nagaoka anti-static inner sleeve liner.
