 Günter Schickert – Samtvogel

Extrem rare Privatpressung von 1973, eine von 200 Exemplaren, wie viele davon aber ein Promo POSTER haben ist nicht bekannt, eigentlich habe ich noch nie von einem Poster gehört, hier ist jedenfalls eines dabei!!!

Für mich ist das eine ganz besondere Platte. Zu hören ist ein Psychedelic Electronic Sound der mit mir nichts bekanntem zu vergleichen ist. Vom Konzept her zu vergleichen mit dem Psycho Über Hit „Interstelllar Overdrive“ von Pink Floyd, wo eigentlich nur eine kurze Melodie bei ständiger Widerholung immer weiter verfremdet wird bis zurvollständigen Auflösung in Cosmic Noise. Um dann wieder langsam zur alten Harmonie zu finden. Der wesentliche Unterschied zum Pink Floyd Hit ist nur dass dieses Konzept nicht mit einem Garagigen Psycho Gitarren Riff geschieht, sondern mit einer zuerst zarten melanchlischen (wunderschönen) Melodie, so dass man denken könnte Günter Schickert hat noch mehr Acid als Syd Barrett geschmissen... Was für mich persönlich das höchste Lob für eine Krautrock Platte nur sein kann.

Die Platte ist auch noch in Top Zustand, das Cover hat an der linken unteren Ecke einen Knick, sonst ist es Top (EX), kommt auch aus einem Archiv so dass die Platte selber ungespielt sein dürfte (Mint). Auch das Poster ist wie Neu!

Extremely rare private pressing from 1973, one of 200 copies, how many of them have a promo POSTER is unknown, actually I never heard of it before, but here at least there is one included!!!

To me this is a very special record. Its PsychedelicElectronic Sound cannot be compared with anything I know. The concept could be compared with the PscychoSuperhit "Interstellar Overdrive" by Pink Floyd, in wich an essentially short melody is alienated during constant repition until its total decomposition in cosmic noise until it finds back to the old harmony. The essential difference to the Pink Floyd Hit is only that this concept does not take place within a Garage Psycho guitar riff, but with a first soft melancholic (marvellous) melody, so that one might think that Günter Schickert has thrown even more acid than Syd Barrett... Wich for me personally can be the highest compliment to a Krautrock record.

The record is in top condition, the cover has a kink on the left down corner, apart from that it is top (EX), comes from an archive, so that the record itself should be unplayed (Mint). Also the poster is like new!

Ich sammele schon viele Jahre Krautrock, bzw. alle progressiven Musikstile aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum, wie Folkrock, Elektronik, Cosmic Disco, Fusion oder Psych Rock. Wobei ich immer auf der Suche nach Absurditäten und Obskuritäten war, also sozusagen die guten Dilettanten Platten; und so finden Sie unter den Angeboten wahre Massen von Privatpressungen und Eigenproduktionen, ich hoffe das es auch noch andere so verrückte Sammler für so etwas gibt. Ansonsten gibt es ja noch die ganzen Krautrock Klassiker!

I'm already collecting Krautrock music for many years now, that is all progressive music styles from the German-speaking area, like Folkrock, Electronics, Cosmic Disco, Fusion or Psychrock and I was always in search of absurdities and obscurities, good dilettant records so to say. Therefore you find under the offers true masses of private pressings and own-label records. I hope there are other mad collectors for such things. Otherwise there are still the whole Krautrock classics!

Ich habe mir die letzten Wochen wirklich viel Zeit genommen, kurze Beschreibungen beizufügen, die Musik-Stile in Worte zu fassen, und möglichst genaue Angaben zu machen.

I have really spend a lot of time during the last weeks to add short descriptions, to catch the music styles in words, and give detailed informations about the records if possible.

***Zustand***

Ich bin schon richtiger Sammler, dem entsprechend habe ich auch eine gepflegte Sammlung. Das soll heißen, alle Platten sind gut erhalten (Kratzer haben meine Platten nicht). Die Angaben drehen sich eigentlich nur um Details, ob eine Platte nur sehr gut, so gut wie neuwertig, oder eben ungespielt ist.

***Condition***

I am a quite real collector, accordingly I also have a cultivated collection.This means that, all records are well-preserved (my records have no scratches). The informations deal rather with details,whether a record is very good, practically as good as new, or even unplayed.
