Description
format LP artist Goblin title Zombi – Colonna Sonora Originale Del Film label Cinevox country Italy catalog # MDF 33.121 year 1978 record/cover ex/vg+ description rare original, italian pressing – Goblin went back to instrumental horror movie music again later in 1978 when they composed the soundtrack for George A. Romero's "Zombi". Italian record label Cinevox was first to issue the soundtrack album (MDF-33.121). The record opened with the two best tracks that both again showed that Goblin were masters when it came to making the perfect horror-atmosphere with a progressive rock sound. "L'Alba Dei Morti Viventi" has a slow, stamping pace with sinister bells, Mellotron-choirs and a spooky synth-theme. The title-track creates an even more complete Zombie-feel with tribal percussions, dark and massing choirs and the typical dynamic riffs and rhythms that were among Goblin's trademarks. please note
vinyl has light surface marks (nap); cover has cow and light wear on seams and spine
