Mega Rare LP of Eddie Lockjaw Davis - Goodies From Eddie Davis (Roost 422 - mono 10") Original blue labels with deep groove on both sides. Early LP for the under-rated sax master Lockjaw Davis also features Bill Doggett, Oscar Pettiford and others in a lost classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG condition at best with lots of marks and scratches that will definitely make noise - not for the audiophile by any means -you will hear a lot of noise on this one - it's pretty beat up. The cover is in VG+ condition with a bit of general age/shelf wear, but NO writing, NO splits, NO tape, NO stickers, NO stamps. Certainly NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world). Mailing costs will be $4.00 for mailing to a U.S. address. Overseas winners will be quoted the appropriate mailing rate at the close of the auction. Shipping discounts available for multiple items sent together.
