A beautiful example, the original plastic MFSL cover is completely sealed and still has the “Super High Fidelity LIMITED EDITION Pressing Enclosed!” yellow sticker on the front of the plastic.  On the back side, you will see the original black & white “The key high fidelity component guaranteed to improve any stereo system” insert.  A great example of a very tough to find and desirable record.

Album arrived in a heavy outer plastic protective cover when I purchased it, and has been stored the same way ever since.

Notes: Many of the more desirable MFSL vinyl titles are becoming very rare in sealed condition, and this one, being one of the earliest MFSL records and a great album, is no exception.  The Gordon Lightfoot “Sundown” MFSL record seems to be more rare than most.  I was only able to find one SEALED copy in the â€œcompleted auctions” section in all of eBay.

Packaging:

You will see from my eBay feedback that I package very securely.  Open Records are removed from jackets to prevent seam-splits, records and covers are placed inside re-sealable plastic outer protective covers, and "sandwiched" between two pieces of cardboard cut to a size larger than the album cover in order to protect the cover from corner-dings during shipping.  Since this is a SEALED record, I will leave it that way, sandwiching it between two pieces of cardboard as described above.  I can usually do this tight enough to prevent the records from sliding during shipping (in order to prevent seam splits) unless the winning bidder prefers that I open the album to remove the records from the jacket (the only way to ensure that no seam splits occur during shipping).

I have not had any problems with damaged records as a result of my own packaging, but I do recommend Insurance on the more expensive items, I cannot be held responsible for what happens to the package after it leaves my possession.

Shipping to the U.S.

Priority shipping for a package weighing anywhere from 2lbs. to 3lbs. is $5.00 to $9.00 depending on your location.  I do not charge a "Handling" fee, shipping calculations will be made using the USPS website  (http://postcalc.usps.gov/) based on your Zip code.

Payment for U.S. Buyers:

Money Orders are preferred (no checks).  Paypal is fine.  I do not use eBay's "Check Out" service, so please wait for me to contact you after the auction is complete.  Once I have the winning bidder's address information I will calculate exact shipping using the USPS website (http://postcalc.usps.gov/) and send you a total including Insurance and Priority Shipping to your destination. 

International Shipping:

For Buyers from outside the U.S., please use Paypal, and please pay in U.S. dollars.  Once I have your address, I will send you a total including Insurance and Airmail Shipping to your destination. 

From my previous international shipping experience, I understand that some people prefer to go without Insurance and would like a low "Declared Value" to avoid import duties/taxes.  That's fine, but at your own risk, I cannot be responsible for what happens to the package after it leaves my possession.

I think that covers everything, I will try to have some other interesting/rare classic rock era vinyl posted here over the next few days, as time allows. There will be some UK pressings (top condition original UK Decca unboxed mono Export versions of the Rolling Stones "Out of Our Heads" and “12 x 5” Lp’s that I may part with), maybe a few U.S. first issues, several high quality Japanese pressings (including the red vinyl mono Beatles EP box set, some White label promos and some red wax first pressings), and some Classic Records first issues (the 180g releases).  Maybe even a couple of my DCC 180g Lp's.  Hopefully, something interesting for everyone.
