Vocals: MARVIN WINANS, CARVIN WINANS, RONALD WINANS, AND HOWARD SMITH

Love Covers by The Testimonial Singers; it intrigued me because it said 'Songs Written And Arranged By Marvin Winans' on the back, Marvin, Carvin, and Ronald Winans are the singers along with Howard Smith, and David Winans II is one of the guitarists. I've done some research and found that this was in fact the original version of The Winans; the name change came in 1975 so this album was before that, and while the name Testimonial Singers appears in the group's wikipedia listing, the label for this record, Jonah Records, doesn't. It's a Detroit label so I'm guessing this was a pretty small pressing.

This is some soul food!

Sounds like new. Cover still in shrink, but a little rough around the top edge where someone opened the cover to get the record out when the record was brand new. Label looks new. Vinyl looks new with only a few feather like paper scuffs, and, or very light scratches.
