Description
Government Issue
legless bull 7"
dischord. no. 4 / 10 tracks / sep 1981
+ lyric sheet. 1000 made
The only pressing of the Government Issue 7", but the sleeves did change after the first batch was printed. The first version had the original mailing address of Y&T Records (you can see that on the sleeve, but someone at Dischord put a file sticker over it correcting it in red ink to the later mailing address). Also this early version was signed by lead singer John Stabb, this extra sleeve is included with an original insert. In near mint condition is the second sleeve, where the address was corrected during the printing process, it also includes the insert.
Lots of short blasts of early DCHC, noisy but good
religious ripoff / fashionite / rock & roll bullshit / anarchy is dead / sheer terror // asshole / bored to death / no rights / i'm james dean / cowboy fashion
