Description

This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono “P”-pressing of Grachan Moncur III “Some Other Stuff” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 1477.  The playing surface is in excellent condition, with a beautiful luster; four tics on the second track of Side 1.  The coated New York 23 cover is bright and clean throughout; ½” bump at the upper left corner; 1” wear on the top seam, at the spine; 2” superficial break at the top of the spine; the back slick has a ½” chip at the top left corner,  a few very light foxing spots along the top left edge, and small wring at the bottom of the opening.  Blue Note inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Cecil McBee, and Tony Williams.  $300.00.
