Description

2 x 78rpm acetates labelled as follows:

Disc one, side 1 - No. 1461. Artiste Gracie Fields.  South American Joe. 808513. Report: master ok.  And underneath is written and crossed out what appears to be 'WILL NOT WEAR NELLIE (?)'       stamped - F1461

Disc one, side 2 - No. 1461-1.  Artiste 'do.  label 'do'  (ditto?)        no other writing

 

Disc two, side 1 -  No. 1463.  Artiste - Gracie Fields.  Label - Rex  - 819215 (could be 869215)  'you've got to keep up with the Joneses. stamped F1463

Disc two - side 2 - blank apart from  No. 1463-2

 

OK - IMPORTANT STUFF...

I have not played either of these records and can only offer them as seen and labelled.   I did buy them from a collectors' auction as a punt and if they are what they appear to be then these are potentially very important collectors' items.  

 

Condition of the vinyl is average for the supposed year.  There are NO major gouges or scratches on Disc 1. but Disc 2, side 1 has 2 scratches across most of the track.
