( GFR ) Grand Funk Railroad / Closer to Home

Japan Orig. LP

Capitol CP - 80001

Appendices: “G/F Cover", “Insert” & “Red-Wax”

( OBI is missing )

Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1970 ) of their 3rd album, coming with rare insert. The disc is marvelous red-wax, issued only for its 1st Japanese pressing. The insert shows “Japanese description”, “Photos of members” & “English lyrics”. Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red-wax even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G/G+ ( Cover / Disc )

COVER: Cover is partly on worn corners & outer-edges. It’s scraped & scratched with ring-wear on the surface of front & back. There’re brown spots in part on the front & back, and in places inside gate-fold. Otherwise it has none of any tear, strip, dent & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc has slight scuffs ( including slight scratches & hairlines ) here and there on each side. There’re some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "G+". All of flaws are so slight that it plays strong on each track.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: FAIR, being creased & stained in brown on the surface of each page.
