pbGrand Funk Railroad TEST PRESSING /b/ppb“Upsetter”/“No Lies” Capitol 1972/b/pbr /pbThis is a blank white label test copy pressed by Capitol Records in 1972 before the single was released to record stores. Both sides were written by the Michigan group’s singer-guitarist-keyboardist-harmonica player Mark Farner. /b/pbr /pbVinyl: This copy is graded in mint minus (M-) condition with plenty of shine. /b/pbr /pbLabels: One label has the artist and title written in marking pen (see photos). The “No Lies” label is blank. Both versions are the same versions and mixes that appear on the commercial release. /b/pbr /pbSleeve: Capitol company sleeve. No rips, tears or seam splits. /b/pbr /pbProvenance: This copy belonged to Massachusetts DJ-radio engineer-reporter-program director Ken Rapoza who died in a 1987 accident. It was subsequently inherited by another disc jockey who kept it in his collection until he died in 2024. /b/p
