Grant Green - Grantstand - 1961/1970 Blue Note # BST-84086 ***RVG Stereo EAR**
**(Side 1 # BNST-84086-A / Side 2 # BNST-84086-B)*** the RVG stereo stamper precedes the matrix, the EAR etching is after matrix number - both sides
DISC: VG+ with relatively clean surface. A few minor light faint fine hairs, with a more pronounced width long needle drag hair on side 2. I was pleasantly surprised to hear very little background noise past this entire hair, see pic 7. There were a few sporadic very light "pop" ticks and crackles past this hair, but majority of revolutions had no background noise. These original micro-groove pressings were built to last. This is a later stereo pressing from 1970. Label still has NY address. There will be very light background noise sporadically throughout. Clean players copy. Light noise on intro wax of both sides.
COVER: VG+ with very glossy cover art. Clean crisp spines and seems. The glued seems on back cover have a little wave to wear cover was glued together at factory. Very minor corner bumps and light "knicks" by insert side of spine. The whites of back cover are still bright. No writing on cover, but Dee Smith is lightly stamped on back cover with ink stamper.
