Grateful Dead May 9th, 1977 - War Memorial Auditorium, Buffalo, NY 5LP Box Set RSD 2020 Release
Record Visual Grade: VG+ All discs have a little bit of sleeve rashing that does not affect play. Side 3 has a small pressing dimple and 2 very light inaudible hairlines. Side 4 has small scratch on the lead in.
Record Play Grade: VG+ There is some very minor surface noise occasionally and one or two pops per side. The most egregious flaw on this set is an audible scratch (that I oddly can't seem to find) on the outro of Comes a Time. I can't be sure, but I suspect a good ultrasonic cleaning would take away most of these minor issues.
Sleeve Grading: VG+ Box is in great shape except for a little bit of whiting on the edges from shelf wear.
Overall: I bought this copy new and am only getting rid of it because I got a good deal on the Get Shown the Light Box Set which contains this show as well. This set has been well cared for and listened to probably a handful of times. Really great copy of an iconic Dead show. Records will ship in brand new rice paper inner sleeves and the box will ship in a protective outer sleeve.
