Offered here is a very rare item for Dead Head collectors: An official Grateful Dead mailing from 1974, which includes the following: A GD mailing envelope, torn but intact, three full color cardboard inserts, one of Garcia, one of Mars Hotel and one of Tales of the Great Rum Runner; a letter from the Grateful Dead to their 'Dead Head' fan club members; a signed note printed Round Records San Raphael Ca. on one side and written on the other; and a new 7" record that plays at 33 ? with two songs on each side, from Garcia and Rum Runner. The Dead's fan club sent this out and you can read the letter. This is a very limited pressing and one wonders how many survive today.
