Description

An early copy of the Grateful Dead double LP Live/Dead. This is a UK press on Warner Brothers Records vinyl.  The catalogue number is K66002 which according to research seems to indicate 1971 as the year of release in UK; however the records themselves are dated 1969 and the inner cover states 1970!

The original outer gatefold sleeve is in very good condition, there is some ringwear on the front (see photos). The spine is clean and crisp, with no tears or seam splits. It is used and a bit scruffy in places due to age and wear - see pictures - however a slice of original Grateful Dead from 1969 when the performances were recorded. The records come in the original paper inner sleeves. There are some great photos of the band on the inner sides of the gatefold sleeve. 

The discs are in excellent visual condition, the records retain much of their original sheen and even under light there are only a few hairline marks visible, with no deep scratches.  There is some surface noise audible on most tracks and the records may benefit from a professional clean as a result.
The records will be sent in a sturdy bespoke LP mailer, the vinyl will be inside the inner sleeve but separate to the outer sleeve to avoid damage from movement, with a card stiffener.
