Description
THIRD MAN RECORDS PRESENTS THE GREAT GATSBY GOLD AND PLATINUM LIMITED EDITION METALLIC COLLECTION FEATURING FIRST EVER COMMERCIALLY RELEASED GOLD AND PLATINUM METALLIC LPs, LASER-CUT WOODEN JACKET WITH ALUMINUM SPINES.
Condition: It is well known online that due to the unique process used to make these records, most if not all of them have many factory blemishes. Due to this, I have play graded the records and will do my best to describe them.
Laser cut wooden sleeve and inserts: near mint
Records: Visually, they have many light discoloration marks. The gold disc especially has marks where the ink from the inserts seems to have bled over. Side three has what appear to be scratch marks, they do not affect the sound. It is very tough to capture this on my camera.
Play Grade: the records play VG+ to NM-. There are no repeating pops. Only light surface noise can be heard at times in quite passages. The music itself is mastered very well and is quite dynamic.
Given the issues with this release, I will consider offers much below market price.
