Recorded live at "Leeds" February, 1971 UK during Rolling Stones Tour.
Issued in US as promo without sleeve.
Handwritten on label.
It seems that maybe only 200 were ever made.

This very rare promo-only LP was a well-intentioned but under-funded effort by their label in the USA, United Artists, to get the Groundhogs on the airwaves in the States. It never had a printed cover, and they didn't even print proper labels for the disc, so staff members had to sit down and fill in the info with pens (every one is a bit different, they are indeed all handwritten!). Supposedly only a couple hundred of these were produced. It is by far the rarest American release by the Groundhogs.
This show was recorded at England's Leeds University in February 1971, a gig they opened for The Rolling Stones. Songs are "Cherry Red", "Garden", "Split Pt.1", "Groundhog Blues", and "Eccentric Man". Not a bootleg or a counterfeit edition, this is definitely the real thing. Sound quality is perfect of course; despite its low-profile appearance, this is indeed an official promotional release!

Vinyl Is In Very Good Plus Plus Condition. (there is some very minor age related wear - there are a few very small & light surface scratches (but nothing deep) - there are some very minor rubbing / scuffing marks on the surface of the vinyl, this is probably from decades spent living is a really cheap paper inner sleeve, but there is nothing deep or audible)

As a result, this sometimes gets in the way of my e-baying.
So, if my turn around time takes a lot longer then most sellers,
(I have a 30 day shipping window) I really do apologize in advance.
I know it is a (potentially) long delivery window,
and you may want to consider this before bidding.
Also, I always ship items in proper shipping packaging, with padding
or packing peanuts or cardboard bracing as needed. I use whatever is
required in order to try and get it safely through the worldwide mail
systems. As a result, there is a small (cost) fee for the packaging materials
that I get from Box City, in order to safely ship the items.
Also, please understand this in advance, I use the e-bay calculator to
figure out postage. Sometimes, it is wrong, and presents a cost that is
higher then the actual cost at the post office. If and when this is the case,
I always refund the difference.
Please Note: Overseas Packages that go through the Customs system,
can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to Process and Deliver, This IS Normal.
For Russia and the Middle East, this can take even longer and is
completely out of my control, so please be patient.
