Description
This is a copy of the rare, coveted self-titled psych/folk LP by the Growing Concern, released in 1968 on the Mainstream label. This was their only release for the label, being dropped shortly after the record came out. The LP has been reissued in recent years, but this is the original, on a silvery-blue Mainstream label. The LP must have been either a promo or a cut-out at some point, as it has a very small hole punched through the upper left corner. There is a very slight crease on the left hand side of the outer sleeve, and the beginnings of a seam split along the top seam (about an inch and a half). The back of the sleeve has a small amount of scuffing and ringwear, fairly typical of a black and white pasteover back sleeve cover. The LP itself is in excellent condition, rated a VG+ due to some scuffing on either side, probably just from shelf wear (the LP did not have an inner sleeve when I bought it, a situation I have remedied).
This is rather a rare item, but I have decided not to set a reserve due to the minor damages. Happy bidding!
All records are shipped in a transparent self-sealing polybag.
Shipping handled at buyer preference - for US shipping I prefer US Priority Mail, which runs $5 for 7" singles and $6 for full-length LPs, but am willing to send Flat Rate as well, which is about a dollar cheaper but less secure. Insurance available on request. Costs for mailing outside the US will be assessed at time of purchase.
