Sheffield Lab 13 – “Growing up in Hollywood Town” box set (1980) Amanda McBroom, Lincoln Mayorga – This direct-to-disc, analogue recording has been featured on HP's TAS Super Disk List for many years, and the sound is dazzling with amazing presence and VERY powerful and dynamic bass. This copy is almost perfect – I purchased it myself in 1980 when it was first released and have played it only rarely since then. The vinyl surfaces are clean, glossy, and exceptionally quiet with NO pops, clicks, tics, or skips - it is very quiet, with NO marks. The vinyl looks and plays near mint (NM) and the labels look new. The box set jacket shows minor shelf wear, but is in excellent (EX) condition, and includes the original insert and foam backing (see photos). In summary, this is a NM copy of this direct-to-disc audiophile recording. Feel free to return for a full refund if not completely satisfied.
