Description
Unique Wrought Iron Weather Vane in Shape of Fender Bass Guitar. Formerly owned by Dave Pegg of Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention.
This Wrought Iron Weather Vane was the symbol of Dave Pegg's (Bass player of Fairport Convention 1969-Present and Jethro Tull 1979 - 1995) Woodworm Record Label and formerly sat on top of the recording studio where a number of albums have been recorded over the years.
As proof of authenticity I would like to direct you to http://www.woodwormrecords.co.uk/ where you can clearly see the item as part of the logo. It was bought from Dave following his sale of Fairport/Tull memorabilia in 2004.
The Guitar is in the shape of a Fender Bass and is in good condition, having not been outside for over two years. The item measures 42 inches high by 36 inches wide. Due to the size and weight I am only able to accept collection on this item. As the item is collection only I am willing to take cash upon collection (Malvern, Worcestershire, UK) or Paypal as usual. International Bidders would have to organise and pay full postage or shipping.
