Vinyl: VG, well played, quite a few light marks and scratches, a bit of crackle between songs but plays through fine. Cover: VG, general storage wear and creasing around edges, seam split to inner.

Record Grading:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played,  but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc. FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

This issue was manufactured using a standard Record Service Alsdorf stamper (as with all their initial 1987 pressings) for side G, but a US mother, galvanized by Sheffield Lab Matrix for Allied Record Company, for side R. Direct Metal Mastering as per DMM in runouts (side R only).

Issued in a semi-glossy cover and a printed inner sleeve with lyrics, credits and photographs. Embossed Warner 'W' logo on back cover, lower right corner.

First cat# on: cover (rear, spine, top seam), inner sleeve and center labels.
Second (the UK) cat# on: cover (rear, spine, top seam) and center labels (unlike on Appetite For Destruction, where it appears only on the center labels).

Runouts sides G / R: first string stamped (up to 1-A and 1-B2 respectively), the rest is etched.

This release features the original album artwork (showing Robert Williams' painting of a girl being raped by robots), which was later withdrawn and replaced with a tattoo-styled, skulls-and-crossbones motif.
