Thanks for looking at my auction.  I have a number of records listed now and will be listing 100's more over the next few weeks.

As I've stated in my previous LP auctions, I've been a collector as a "listener", but have listed my standards for grading below.  I also try to explain why a specific grade was chosen in many cases.  I do not attempt to leave out anything important to you when determining what you're willing to bid so if you have any questions, please email me for more information or a better explanation.  (Check my feedback for comments from previous buyers.)  Some starting bids or reserve prices may seem high, that's not to be arrogant, some albums are just harder for me to let go of.  (I’m selling as an individual not a business.)

I use special LP mailing boxes and use cushioned wrapping to protect your winnings during shipment, which is why my flat rate shipping cost is higher than the required postage will be.  (I believe you get what you pay for.)  Shipping to Europe is a flat $10.00 and Canada is a flat $7.50.  I must indicate the actual auction winning bid as the value on international packages, please do not ask me to mark as “gift”.  I will combine multiple auction wins and ship together to save you postage.

Grading convention I use.

NM, looks new.  No blemish that would not be found on the average new album bought from a store.  (Not all “newly purchased” albums would fit this category, but most would.)

E, an excellent sample that looks virtually new, but may have bent corners, very very slight wear, or light surface scratches or scuffs on the vinyl that should not be audible.

VG++, has signs of wear, but no seam splits, tears, stains, or blemishes not attributable to a carefully handled LP for its age.  Slight ring wear may be found, but no more than 90 degrees of a full circle and not heavy wear.  Vinyl may have light visible surface scratches, but none that produce a skip.  There may be background (surface) noise, but it is not overwhelming nor is it present throughout the album.

VG+, signs of wear, but not bad.  Jacket may have small seam splitting, corner wear, or short tears on the edges.  (I will identify these if present.)  Vinyl may have light scratches that produce “pops”, but does not skip.

VG, definite signs of wear, but not a piece of crap.  Jacket may have consistent wear all over, but still holds together and is legible.  Vinyl may have scratches that produce “pops” and even a skip or two.

Condition of jacket listed first, then vinyl, I.E. VG/VG++
