Guts & Mambo Beach Diggin Vol.3

description details   2LP vinyl in gatefold sleeve.

After a great response to the first two episodes, GUTS and the street artist MAMBO are now presenting the third part of their compilation with fourteen international highlight tracks with a midsummer character on HEAVENLY SWEETNESS. Of course again with the first-class signature artwork from MAMBO!

GUTS, who lives on the Balearic Islands and not only stands for excellent old-school hip hop with his own productions, but also for first-class, flatteringly soulful downbeat electronica, has again sifted through the local vinyl collections together with his friend MAMBO and brought rare gems to light. Most of the songs on "Beach Diggin' Vol.3" are of Caribbean origin, from Trinidad / Tobago, Guadeloupe, Jamaica or Saint Thomas, but Brazil, the USA, Canada or Tunisia are also included. Since its two successful and popular predecessors, "Beach Diggin'" has now become a brand and seal of quality for a high-quality mix with some very rare songs. The songs, which are provided with easy-going grooves and sparkling melodies full of midsummer, draw a bow from soul, funk, bossa nova and exotica to Latin jazz and tropical - far away from the clichéd formalism of numerous seasonal compilations. And so it is not a disadvantage that the artists gathered here are mostly known to experts. "Beach Diggin' is a state of mind" inform GUTS and MAMBO, and not only each song in itself, but also the dramaturgy of their composition is a real feast for connoisseurs. If you want to learn more, stick to the informative liner notes for each of the tracks. With "Beach Diggin' Vol. 3”, the two masters of tropical idleness continue their popular compilation brand with bravura. Double LP in gatefold sleeve.

about us

Our founding year of 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as cool again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record shop and then of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online is available in our Übersee store, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Right on the A8 autobahn, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl.
We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for everything to do with vinyl...
