Hal Vincent at the Baldwin Organ - Baldwin Soul Featuring Soul Smash Hits 11-song UK IMPORT STEREO LP on Ad-Rhythm ARPS-3003 from 1971. Oh, what can I say, that the audio clips below won't tell your ears??? This is one HOT disc, one that DJ's and remixers are diggin' through crates for, and once they find one, they hold onto it with both hands!!! And be careful for the headbutt! It is just... that... good!!!!!

The tracks included are: Ode To Billy Joe (Bobbie Gentry cover), Heavy Spaceman, Hey Jude (Beatles/Lennon & McCartney cover with a great psych guitar), Funky Nashville, Electric Chicken, The Letter (The Boxtops cover), Sunny (Bobby Hebb cover), Dock Of The Bay (Otis Redding cover), Soul Strip, Let It Be (Beatles/Lennon & McCartney cover) and Finger Sauce. All of the originals are attributed to Thomson and Hancock, but I don't see them noted anywhere on the cover or labels as producers or musicians, although my guess is that they were the players on these tracks. The back cover notes that Hal Vincent is playing a Baldwin PRO 200 Organ and a Freeman Synthesizer.

The dark aqua blue labeled vinyl is in excellent - NEAR MINT condition from little play and protection from the original UK anti-static, plastic lined sleeve!!! The glossy fronted Garrod and Lofthouse cover has no tears, seam splitting or writing and is in very good plus condition with some light storage wear, lightly dinged corners, aging to the back cover and darkening to the back cover tabs from storage over the 39-years. This is a RARE & COOL Hal Vincent/Baldwin/Funk/Soul collectible, make sure you bid on this one today!!!
