Description

Hal Vincent at the Baldwin Organ featuring Soul Smash Hits "Baldwin Soul" Ad-Rhythm (ARPS-3003), UK 1971

Great funky organ with strange electronic synthesiser effects.  The Baldwin Organ has a "Hammond Organ" like tone but obviously had a few Moog type effects too.  It's like Jean Jacques Perrey meets The Mohawks.

Packed full of great tunes like "Ode To Billy Joe", "Heavy Spaceman", "Electric Chicken" (sounds like Rufus Thomas' Funky Chicken), "Finger Sauce" and a superb "Sunny" cover (imagine John Schroeders version) absolutely killer eazy funk lounge stuff, very groovy late 60's organ mod funk
