HALF JAPANESE 7" "(I DON'T WANT TO HAVE) MONO (ANYMORE)" b/w "RIP MY SHIRT TO SHREDS" & "NO DIRECT LINE FROM MY BRAIN TO MY HEART" (50,000,000,000,000... Watts Records A+R 87X90)
The year is 1978 & everything is Leopard Skin . . . . . Two-sided picture sleeve with lyrics, photo, drawing, lyrics & credits. Dig those rubber stamps!!! Plus, there's another picture sleeve on the inside with more graphics. Finally, there's a hand-addressed mailer & nice printed insert which contains a brief letter signed by Jad Fair. This 45, released in 1978, was mailed to Artifacts Records in Richmond, VA. Artifacts did some unusual Art Punk & experimental stuff in the late 70s, including records by Bomis Prendin & a super 10" flexi-sampler. (Matrix Number: "A+R 87X90-A 299").
PICTURE SLEEVE - NM
No seam splits, stains, tears, creases, smudges, ink spills, puncture holes, cut-out marks, price tags, or color fading. No ring wear. Nice flat sleeve with no waves, ripples, bends or folds. Illustration & print are sharp and are free of sun washout. Beautiful label is free of marks, stains, writing, scuffs or any other flaws.
INSERTS - NEAR MINT & VG+
No tears, stickers, writing, water damage, creases, or color fading. Faint browning on the GOO GOO GA GA insert, so that one is VG+.
MAILER - VG-
No tears, but a few creases & some browning. Flap has been removed, so no stamp. The rubber stamp & hand printing all look fabulous.
DISC - NEAR MINT
This record has been treated with great delicacy. No scratches, scuffs, flecks, skips, warps or residue on the playing grooves or dead wax. Excellent surface sheen. Fresh sharp-cut spindle hole with virtually no spindle scuffs.
