HALLOWEEN Original Soundtrack LP
Columbia Records Japan 1979
Condition (sleeve/vinyl): VG+/EX
1979 Japanese version of the first Halloween soundtrack. Please note that this version of the record does not contain music performed by John Carpenter, rather it is the Bowling Green Jr. Philharmonic Orchestra performing Carpenter's compositions. Presented in "Spacesizer 360" sound.
Overall the entire record is in nice shape, the sleeve has very slight wear and a couple tiny corner bumps, and the vinyl is very clean and plays great. The large fold-out poster insert is present and in great shape. NO OBI STRIP unfortunately.
GRADING:
NM (near mint) is the highest grade for a record in beautiful shape.
EX (excellent) means there is very little to no wear -- a small, inaudible surface mark on the vinyl or a small bend on the sleeve
VG+ (very good plus) means the record has minor wear -- sleeve creased and/or shows a slight ring impression, vinyl shows cosmetic signs of handling
VG (very good) means the sleeve shows multiple flaws (sticker tear, seam split, ring wear, rumpled top) and the disc has multiple small scratches but plays ok
VG- (very good minus) means the sleeve is "well loved" with numerous flaws while the vinyl is exhibits many flaws and is noisy
G (good) means the sleeve contains major flaws such as large tears, heavy staining, etc., while the vinyl is beat but playable with no skips
