I’m parting with a vast number of noise rock, garage rock, post rock, alt-country, punk and various indie – mostly spanning the ‘80s and ‘90s. HOW I PACKAGE RECORD ALBUMS

To ensure safe delivery, records are shipped tightly in a dedicated cardboard LP mailer with additional cardboard for added padding. When packaging, I remove inner sleeve from album cover, keeping LP inside inner sleeve. Both the inner sleeve and album cover are then stored in an outer plastic sleeve for further protection. YOUR RECORDS SHIP WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIVED PAYMENT. PAYPAL ONLY.

GRADING SCALE

I’m an avid record collector and also buy vinyl online. I grade the vinyl I’m selling with the same kind of ethics I hope my sellers are using. I sight-grade under direct bright light for accurate grading. I use the Goldmine Grading Scale, conservatively, and do not use Mint as a condition grade. HERE’S THE GRADING SCALE: NM, VG+, VG. Sometimes I’ll use a VG++ to note the contents are on the high side of VG+. Generally I do not clean records prior to selling them, as everybody has their own cleaning methods. At most, your record will arrive with light lint/dust, usually from the inner sleeve. No grit, nor grime. If I do need to clean a record to get an accurate grade, I do it using my VPI record cleaning machine. Items are guaranteed if returned within 7 days of receipt with buyer re-packaging properly and paying return shipping costs.
