Description
Handel Julius Caesar (sung in English) 1985 EMI Electrola 3LP Box Set EX157. 2702323 German pressing. Recorded at London's Abbey Road studios with the English National Opera company, led by the great Dame Janet Baker oddly, but triumphantly cast in the title role, and Valerie Masterson, James Bowman, John Tomlinson, Sarah Walker, Della Jones, and David James. The ENO Chorus and Orchestra is conducted by Sir Charles Mackerras. The box contains an excellent full-sized booklet with many photos and the full libretto.
Condition: Near Mint - absolutely beautiful condition.
