This box set is in great condition - vinyl is in VG++ / Excellent condition. Vinyl is free of marks with just a few hairline surface scuffs that cannot be felt. Cover is in VG+ condition and looks beautiful. I would have graded it higher but the plate on the front has damage on one corner, as seen in the photo. Otherwise there is only very mild shelf wear. Original sleeves have light yellowing due to age but are all in tact. The slipcover that the records go in--which slides into the cover--is in great condition too. Booklet is in VG condition because of a little spine damage (an area of about 1 1/2" right at the top). All plates are in tact and in beautiful condition. Some light creasing on front and back covers. I'm also including a newspaper article on The Messiah featuring Sir Thomas Beecham, and The Oratorio Choir program from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary (1964), which were in the box when I bought it.

There is also an "I" stamped in the dead wax area on all but one side--I'm guessing it should be on the other one as well but wasn't stamped hard enough.
