Description

Recorded in September and October, 1947 and September 4, 1953 in New York City and released in 1956 as Clef MGC-707. This is a 1970s Verve Records, Inc., Clef Series MGV-8091 mono pressing with guitarist Johnny Smith and bassist Ray Brown. Photos show condition and details of actual items. 

Album Description

·      VINYL- NM: Album has never been played. A visual review shows no scuffs or scratches. Side-1: MGV 8091-A and Side-2: MGV 8091-B stamped in the runout. Vinyl cleaned using a VPI record cleaning machine before shipping. Any spindle wear occurred during the cleaning process.

·      RECORD LABELS: Deep groove, black with silver text, “Trumpet” logo.

·      COVER- NM: Artist David Stone Martin cover design. Front and back surfaces show very little age wear. There is no writing, marks, corner cuts or seam splits.

·      SLEEVE: Original paper sleeve.
