Description
Hank Mobley Dippin’ LP Blue Note Japanese King Pressing 1981 VG++. Also playing on the album are Lee Morgan on trumpet, Harold Mabern, Jr. on piano, Larry Ridley on bass and Billy Higgins on drums.Record plays great with minimal if any noise in VG++/EX condition. Sleeve is in VG condition as color is fading on front of sleeve and there is a one inch split in the top right corner. Other than front color fading and small split the sleeve is in fine condition with all seams sturdy. Includes insert. No obi. Record is from my personal collection and has been handled with care. I love this session and regard The Dip as one of Hank Mobley's best compositions, along with Billy Higgins' performance on drums as one of his finest on the Blue Note label. This record is an essential own for any serious Hank Mobley or Lee Morgan fan. This Japanese King pressing also sounds phenomenal with the drums sounding to me better than other Blue Note pressings of this album. Overall King pressed exceptional records.
Condition is Used. PayPal is the only accepted method of payment. Payment must be received within 48 HOURS of sale. Shipped with USPS Media Mail in record mailer with record outside of sleeve to avoid damage during shipping.
