LP : Reichel-Knispel-Duo / Erdmännchen (6 Pieces For 2 Guitars)

Original German first pressing from 1977 on FREE MUSIC PRODUCTIONS, FMP 0400. Recorded in Wuppertal on 11-13, June 1977. This is a “live in the studio” recording without overdubbing etc., recorded with direct input into the console plus “Dummy-Head”, the latter was provided by CONNY PLANK, the recording-engineer was EROC. Here's a quote from the CADENCE magazine wich describes the music very appropriate: "Using no overdubs or electronic manipulation, these two artists have created some impressive music. The sound is almost orchestral in scope, quite dense, and never less than fascinating. At various times Reichel sounds like he’s playing harpsichord, synthesizer, koto and harp, as well as standard guitar. And even though both are playing electric guitars, the music has the kind of warmth one associates with the acoustic guitar.“

Tracks: side 1: Yeti - Something Like What - Erdmännchen Plus Watercock side 2: Bastard - Germurmel And Geknispel - Rainy Day Waltz

Condition: the record looks mint- to mint-- in daylight & in normal artificial light, it looks mint-- to ex++ under a very strong halogen lamp. It plays in mint- all of the time.

The cover shows moderate shelfwear, all seams/spine are intact with a little rub on the top-seam & the spine and a little more on the bottom-seam, front & back are fine with lightest shelfwear, there's some cornerwear; overall vg+.

Zustand: die LP sieht bei Tageslicht & unter einer normalen Lampe mint- bis mint-- aus, unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe sieht sie mint-- bis ex++ aus. Sie spielt durchgehend in mint- .

Das Cover hat mäßige Lagerspuren, alle Kanten sind intakt mit etwas Abrieb an der oberen & der seitlichen Kante und etwas mehr an der unteren Kante, Vorder- & Rückseite sind recht gut erhalten mit nur leichten Gebrauchsspuren, die Ecken haben etwas “Wear” ; insgesamt in vg+.

Alle Platten wurden professionell gereinigt, entweder von mir (Hannl Mikro) oder von den Vorbesitzern (Okki Nokki, Loricraft o.Ä.). Anschließend wurden sie nur wenige Male abgespielt bzw. nur einmal von mir zum Bewerten angehört (komplett oder in Ausschnitten). Optische Bewertung erfolgt in Tageslicht, in normalen Kunstlicht & unter einer sehr hellen Halogenlampe. Platten kommen mit neuer hochwertiger Innenhülle & in einer Schutzhülle. Bitte beachten: auch prof. gereinigte Platten können einige Staubpartikel haben; “eingefangen” während optischer & akkustischer Bewertung, Fotografieren oder den wenigen Abspielungen der Vorbesitzer.

Grading & Cleaning:

• all records have been cleaned on a professional record cleaning machine, either by me (Hannl Mikro) or by the pre-owners (Okki Nokki, Loricraft or the like). After cleaning the records have been played just a few times (or only once by me for playgrading)

• I playgrade each record (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, high-end Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN/ EMT TU-3 SFL (please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment)

• I also visually grade cleaned records in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

• only an unplayed record is mint, my highest grading for a used record is mint- . My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

• cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve

• pl. note: even pro cleaned records may have received some dust particles during visual-/play-grading, photographing or few pre-owner playbacks
