HAPSHASH AND THE COLOURED COAT LP UK 1967 RED VINYL
Minit Records MLL 4001
Another album from my husband's vinyl collection. Played only a few times and not for the last 25 years. Rumour apparently had it when this album was released that it was the first 12" LP on coloured vinyl... I can see no indication on sleeve or label that this record is stereo, so I am presuming it's mono.
The sleeve is laminated on both sides, and I can see no ring wear. Apparently the sleeve had to be reglued shortly after the album was purchased after the glue failed, and at that time my husband wrote his address in London on the inside of the sleeve in black felt-tip before reglueing it. There are a few places near the spine where the laminate has lifted, as you can see air bubbles, and there is a crease across the bottom left corner but this seems to be only on the front of the sleeve. There are a few cracks in the laminate around the edges , and the top right-hand corner is a little frayed.
The vinyl looks very good - I can see no scratches. The condition of the labels may be judged from the pics below.
You can see the prices copies of this album have made previously on eBay by going to www.popsike.com - useful info if you are thinking of a 3-second snipe bid and are serious about wanting to own this record..:-)
Please mail me with verifiable contact details before bidding if you have less than 5 feedbacks, or your bid may be cancelled. Paypal payment will only be accepted from verified addresses. Shipping will be by a secure insured method, and the disc will be packed in a manner which will guarantee its safe arrival. Please make contact within 3 days and pay within 7, or the record will be re-listed, a non-paying bidder report filed with eBay, and negative feedback left.
Please check my other listings for more very rare records (I will soon be listing the classic Blossom Toes LP "We Are Ever So Clean"). Over the next few weeks I will be listing vinyl singles and albums covering most genres of 60s and 70s music, from punk to jazzfunk to heavy rock, and some albums from the early 1980s.
