CLEVERLY PERFORMED and arranged period progressive rock with a hard rockin' undercurrent bringing to mind such comparisons as contemporary grafters Rare Bird, ELP, Hookfoot and, not surprisingly, Family.

Musically they evoke contemporary hardish prog rock vibes with long tracks and precise arrangements entwined with crafty instrumentation and great vocals   

Both had been members of the Spencer Davis Group before breaking away to head in a more progressive direction conjuring up a hard driving sound reliant on York's powerhouse drumming and Hardin's mellifluous vocal/keyboard work. One of the better obscure prog rock albums of the period and tough to find.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Decca, UK, 1971

Vinyl: Top clean and shiny condition. A couple of spindle marks on labels. Suffers from modest bag rash that does not effect playback. Grades as a very nice MINT- I will however downgrade it visually to Ex

Cover: Again, practically no signs of use. Issued in a superbly designed textured cover. Sharp corners, no dings, no creases, no split seams, no storage wear and no flaws whatsoever. Great small non intrusive original record shop sticker on rear - Osborne's of Banbury! Spine is stiff and square. Impossible to find like this 49 years after release. Grades as shop fresh MINT-!
