You are bidding on "HOWLIN' TOMCAT" and "SHE'S DONE MOVED" by HARMONICA FRANK on CHESS 1494 recorded in Memphis, Tennessee probably in November, 1951 at Sam Phillip's SUN studio. Released January, 1952.

Harmonica Frank Floyd was born in Toccopola, Mississippi in 1908 and died in Blanchester, Ohio in 1984. He was raised by his white sharecropping grandparents. The first white to record in the Sun studio, these two songs were licensed to be released on Chess Records in Chicago.

Condition: VG+ - a few faint scratches and some light rubbing. Plays very well. The only cleaning I have done is with a soft, wet cloth.


I am getting up in years and am selling my small collection, as my children and grandchildren are not interested.
