I was told many years ago, by Castro Pink, that Beat Down Babylon was 1st done here in Toronto. In those days, thinking I knew everything, I strongly disagreed. Then Dave Katz published his wonderful Lee Perry book. In it he tells Junior Byles's tale of how his friend Harold Meikle recorded this tune & how he took it to Lee Perry. You know the rest! This is the 1st press Toronto release.

No writing on labels.
